Subject:  Participation Of Members of SPWCCI in Foire-de-Paris, France (Self Financed).

1.   It is matter of immense pleasure to inform your office that in spite of meager available resources and current imposed hurdles by the trade authorities. “Al-HAMDO-LILA”, four member ladies of SPWCCI have very successfully carried out business in subject fair at France. The Chamber in particular participated in Foire-de-Paris and member business ladies in general were well organized and displayed mutual respect and sharing which is otherwise very rare in such business events. Following Enterprises participated in subject event at France:-

a. YAYA HAUTE COUTURE - Stall number G-116 ANEELA IFTIKHAR (DIRECTOR). (Govt Stall given by TDAP) (100 THOUSAND RUPEES FEE PAID TO TDAP)

b. HAAQS Enterprises -Stall number F 135 (PRIVATE STAND) SADIA AZAM (DIRECTOR).

c. Al-Noor Enterprises -           ----do-----
NAJMA IFTIKHAR (DIRECTOR).

d. NIMS Enterprises -              ----do-----
NAIMA MAZHAR (DIRECTOR).

THESE 3 COMPANIES WERE NOT SELLECTED FROM TDAP AND THEY TOOK A BOLD STEP BY GETTING PRIVATE STAND IN ABOVE SAID FAIR , WHICH CAN BE CONFIRMED FROM THE COMMERCAIL SECTION PARIS . PICTURES ATTACHED.

2.   This experience will go a long way in further expansion of these women entrepreneur enterprises of SPWCCI and earn foreign exchange for Pakistan. The Commercial Council of Pakistan (MRs.Suriaya), also appreciated the efforts and stalls of women from South Punjab, during her visit. Photographs of the exhibition are attached for your perusal.

3. SPWCCI is preparing a country wise schedule for participation of members/firms of women entrepreneur of South Punjab, in various exhibition and events abroad basing over their previous performances and success. At the same time SPWCCI will ensure that all the members who qualify, get equal opportunities to expand their business both at domestic and international level. But, this can only happen and when prompt and effective guidance and support of TDAP is available to this Chamber. Unfortunately, misunderstanding is being manipulated by those who are against the existence of first ever women chamber of Pakistan. So much so that, an administrator (male) is being detailed to look after the Chamber, this has not only dithered working performance of SPWCCI but has created  a
situation of discomfort to the ladies members who infect wanted male free environment as socially, people of South Punjab dislike it.

4.   It is therefore humbly requested that ladies of Chamber should run the affairs of their Chamber by themselves rather than TDAP. However we the ladies would like that guidance and maximum support be given to women entrepreneurs by allotting Govt stalls to member ladies nominated by SPWCCI.

WHY SPWCC IS BEING CORNERED

     Why ladies of South Punjab are not being preferred, are they not deserving enough. This question is being asked repeatedly now a days. Over 300 members of Chamber are announced at dramatic move of TDAP to detail a administrator (male) to run the women Chamber on a plea of unfair elections, offering lady members to join men chamber if want to cont business is act of destroying the vary aim of existence of ladies Chamber. PM Yousaf Raza Gillani very graciously announced/inaugurated the office of South Punjab Women Chamber in order to empower the women. On one side, existence of South Punjab Women Chamber is in danger whereas on other hand , ladies members of Chamber decided to take initiatives. Once denied by tdap Multan for Foire-de-Paris, ladies booked a Private stall for Foire-de-Paris. Three Enterprises namely. HAAQS Enterprises, Alnoor and NIMS Enterprises participated Privately  and very successfully earned the foreign exchange for Pakistan. This experience will do lot of good future investments and heal fly contribution from women Chamber of South Punjab.

     This is also an eye opener for tdap authorities specially of Multan that ladies entity respect and deafen should be comprised by putting a male administrator on them or by asking them to join male Chamber.
